Learn With Me

A little yarn, a little experimenting, and a lot of creative rabbit holes.

Make It. Learn It. Make It Yours.

You don't have to know exactly what you're doing before you start. Sometimes the best projects happen when you experiment, make a few mistakes, and discover your own way of doing things.

Crochet, Fiber Arts & Creative Projects

Creating has always been one of the ways I learn, explore, and make sense of the world around me. Crochet, fiber arts, upcycling, and handmade projects give me a place to experiment without needing everything to be perfect. Sometimes I start with a plan, sometimes I start with a pile of yarn or something I found at the thrift store, and sometimes I have absolutely no idea where the project is going.

Here you’ll find the things I’m learning, making, testing, and creating along the way — from crochet and fiber arts to upcycling clothes, creative experiments, and projects that take me down another creative rabbit hole. I’ll share what works, what doesn’t, and what I learn in the process so you can create right alongside me.

Crochet & Fiber Arts

Crochet is one of the creative spaces I keep coming back to. I love working with yarn, experimenting with stitches, playing with texture, and seeing how an idea changes once I actually start making it. Some projects turn out exactly as I imagined. Others take a completely different direction — and those are often the most fun.

This space will include crochet projects, wearable pieces, fiber art, yarn experiments, and the creative process behind them. I’ll share what I’m working on, what I’m learning, and the little discoveries that make me want to pick up my hook and keep going.

Old Things. New Ideas.

Before you decide something belongs in the trash or the donation pile, take another look. Sometimes all it needs is a little imagination.

Upcycling & Creative Reuse

Giving something old a second chance — with a little creativity.

I’ve never been very good at looking at something and seeing only what it was meant to be. An old piece of clothing can become something completely different with a little imagination, some fabric, thread, paint, or crochet. Upcycling gives me a chance to take things that might otherwise be forgotten and turn them into something useful, wearable, or simply fun.

Here I’ll share clothing makeovers, thrift flips, sewing experiments, fabric projects, and creative ways to give old things a second life. Some projects are planned from the beginning. Others happen because I look at something and think, “I could probably make something out of that.”

Curiosity Is Part of the Process.

Not every idea needs to become a masterpiece. Sometimes following a little curiosity is enough to teach you something new.

Creative Experiments & Rabbit Holes

Follow the idea. See where the rabbit hole leads.

Not every creative project starts with a clear plan. Sometimes I see an idea, get curious, and suddenly I’m three hours into figuring out how to make it work. That’s the part of creativity I enjoy most — following the question, trying something new, and seeing where it leads.

This is where I’ll share the experiments that don’t fit neatly into one category: new techniques, digital creativity, handmade projects, unexpected ideas, and those wonderfully random creative rabbit holes that happen when curiosity takes over. You may see a finished project, a work in progress, or simply what I learned from trying something that didn’t quite go as planned.

You Don't Have to Figure It Out Alone.

Learning something new is a lot more fun when you can ask questions, share ideas, and laugh about the mistakes along the way.

Learning Together

Learn it. Try it. Make it your own.

I don’t believe you have to be an expert to make something. Some of the most useful things I’ve learned have come from trying, messing up, asking questions, and trying again. I’m still learning too, and that’s part of what makes creating so much more interesting.

Here I’ll share tutorials, tips, resources, techniques, and lessons I’ve picked up along the way. My goal isn’t to make creativity feel complicated. It’s to make it feel approachable enough that you can grab your supplies, give it a try, and figure it out as you go.

Let's Make Something Together.

Creative spaces are better when everyone feels welcome to learn, experiment, and make something at their own pace.

Creative Classes & Workshops in Flower Mound

Local creative classes, workshops, and opportunities to make something together.

Creating is even better when you can do it together. I’m working toward bringing hands-on crochet, fiber arts, upcycling, and creative workshops to the Flower Mound, Texas community, giving people a relaxed place to learn, experiment, and make something with their own hands.

As these opportunities come together, I’ll share upcoming classes, workshops, local collaborations, and ways to join me in person. Whether you’re picking up a crochet hook for the first time or simply want to spend an afternoon making something creative, this is where you’ll find what’s coming up.

Ready to Make Something?

You don’t need a perfect plan, a craft room full of supplies, or years of experience to start creating. Sometimes you just need a little curiosity and the willingness to try.

Follow along as I learn, make, experiment, and occasionally wander down a creative rabbit hole. And if you’re here in Flower Mound, keep an eye out for opportunities to learn and create together in person.
